DOSTI : STUDENTS EXCHANGE PROGRAM

                An initiative to expose the horizons of the school children of Bandipore. The students of Bandipore were made to interact with the students of Step by Step school located at Noida so  that there is an exchange in ideas, thought process and knowledge.

It will also give an opportunity to the students of the metro to understand the people of valley better. It will make them comprehend that the people in the vale are no different than them. In the next phase of the program these understandings will be substantiated when the students of SBS will visit the valley AGS.

AMERICARES INDIA FOUNDATION TO BANDIPORE

          Americares India is a nonprofit disaster relief and humanitarian aid org keeping in mind the suffering of people in Bandipore, this org was approached to visit Bandipore. Medical camps were organised between 26 Feb 12 in collaboration with Americares India, at Sumlar, Gujjarpatti, Panar, Budhinar and Chechinar over four days culminating in distribution of ten wheel chairs and ten tricycles for the physically challenged besides given seventy hearing aids.

          The group has arrived again for organising the medical camps from 22 Apr 12. A number of camps are being structured by the organisation. They have distributed twenty wheel chairs and fifty solar lights to the people. Hearing aids have been distributed to the people suffering from hearing impairment.
